Our Curriculum

The Horton Early Learning Experience

Our kindergarten-readiness curriculum is thoughtfully designed by our owner, blending NC standards, STEM, life skills, and collaborative learning into a dynamic half-day preschool program. We believe children learn best by doing, so our hands-on, play-based approach encourages curiosity, creativity, and joyful participation. We honor each child’s cultural language while supporting physical, cognitive, language, and social development, making learning an exciting and meaningful experience every day.

At Gifted Stars Christian Academy, our elementary school curriculum is designed to nurture the whole child academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. We provide a well-rounded, faith-based learning experience that combines strong core instruction in reading, math, science, and social studies with hands-on activities, critical thinking, and character development. Our small class sizes allow for individualized attention, ensuring that each student learns at their own pace while building confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for learning in a safe, supportive, and Christ-centered environment.

A Junior Kindergarten Like
No Other—Starting at Age 1.

We are a junior kindergarten and elementary school starting at the age of 1 through 5th grade, offering a one-of-a-kind preschool experience. Our program features weekly themed lessons, STEM, Spanish, sign language, outdoor yoga, soccer, field trips, arts & crafts, and healthy organic hot meals—all in a clean, calm, aromatherapy-enhanced environment. With a 1:6 ratio, experienced CPR/First Aid–certified staff, and a hands-on, learn-by-doing approach, we make learning fun, engaging, and exciting every day.
